Two African American physicians explore the role of racism as a unique form of stress and the weaponization of food in the creation of health disparities in African American communities irrespective of income. Dr. Harris is an American culinary historian, college professor, cookbook author, and journalist. She is an expert on the food and food-ways of the African Diaspora. She has published 12 books. Her primary subjects are culinary history, food-ways, and recipes of the African Diaspora. Harris was a 2004 winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern Food-ways Alliance and a 2010 James Beard Foundation special award honoree.

Dr. Walsh is passionate about educating people on ways to improve their mental, physical and spiritual health. As a result, he has taken his God given talents across the world and has given lectures and sermons on every continent.
